The thermal performance of a Crammix Clay Brick can be likened to that of a thermal battery. Large amounts of heat energy can be absorbed and stored during the day and then distributed back into the building throughout the night, creating a thermal lag effect.  This ensures the moderation of internal temperatures relative to external temperatures swings experienced during summer and winter, resulting in lower energy consumption and the need for artificial heating and cooling mechanisms.
